(A) Government Schemes
- Merit Scholarship for the first three students in class (not division) for each academic discipline provided they obtain at least 60% marks as follows: a) Merit Scholarship for the First Semester of the Academic year will be awarded on the basis of marks of the previous year’s examination (HSSC)
b) Merit scholarship for the Second Semester will be awarded on the basis of the First Semester examination. - B.C. Scholarship (Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Sahay): Those students of the college who secure at least 45% marks in their annual examination and whose parent’s annual income does not exceed Rs. 18,000 /-p.a. are eligible for the award of these scholarships.
- Merit scholarship to the children of school teachers.
- Freeships to the children of political sufferers & freedom fighters.
- Freeships to physically disabled students.
- Freeships to the students belonging to the Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes (In case of OBC, the family income should not exceed more than Rs.4,50,000 p.a)
- National loan scholarships.
- Tuition fees will be waived off for SC/OBC students who fulfill eligibility criteria of income of 1 Lac p.a. for SC students and 44,500 p.a. for OBC students. For availing of this benefit, students belonging to SC/OBC caste should produce valid income and caste certificates issued by a competent authority at the time of admission.
- Education concession to the children of service personnel, which include combatant Junior Commissioned Officers, non-commissioned officers and lower rank in the army, and Officers and personnel for the corresponding status in the Air Force and the Navy are eligible.
- Central Sector Scholarship will be given to meritorious students securing 80% and above in the HSSC exam.
(B) College Scheme :
Students Aid Fund
Students Aid Fund is created to give financial assistance to the needy and poor students up to maximum of Rs.1500/- per year to meet partly or fully their tution fees or to purchase books or similar other expenses. To be eligible for the assistance, the annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/-. The beneficiary should not be in receipt of any other scholarship/ assistance except the merit scholarship.
