VACANCIES

Application along with full bio-data containing   recent photograph, telephone/ mobile no., email-ID, academic qualification,   teaching / research experience, etc. is invited by The Secretary, Swami Brahmanand Sanskrit Prabodhini for its Swami Brahmanand Mahavidyalaya (Grant-in Aid College) from qualified and eligible candidates (Indian  citizens) for the following posts so as to reach the undersigned within 21days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Application must be accompanied by certified photocopies of statement of marks from S.S.C and onwards and other relevant certificates including Experience, Birth certificate,   Change in name if any, Certificate of 15 years residence in Goa issued by a competent authority and filled API proforma with the evidences for API

claim wherever  applicable  addressed to The Secretary, Swami Brahmanand Sanskrit Prabodhini, Tapobhoomi, Kundai, Ponda-Goa. 403115 .   Applicants already employed must send their applications through proper channel.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Break in service/   academic career if any should be accounted for.

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility

For Post at Sr. No. 1

i) Ph.D. degree ii) Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/ experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education. iii) A minimum of 10 research publications in peer reviewed journal as approved by Goa University from time to time or UGC-listed journals out of which at least two should be in Scopus / Web of Science Journal. iv) A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Appendix II, Table 2 B.  (Goa University Statutes SC-16))

 A College Principal shall be appointed for a period of five years, extendable for another term of five years on the basis of performance assessment by a Committee appointed by the University. 

For Post at Sr. No:2

• A Master‘s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point –scale, wherever the grading system is followed). ii) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library. iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SET (conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University ) or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree as stated  in Goa University statutes SC-16.4.7 (iv). 

For Post at Sr. No:3

 A- i) A Master‘s Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

ii) Record of having represented the university / college at the inter-university /inter-collegiate competitions or the State and/ or national championships. iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SET (conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University), or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Physical Education or Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science as stated in  Goa University statues SC-16.4.8  (II).

 iv) Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with  Goa university Statutes SC-16.4.8 (iii)

OR

B- An Asian game or commonwealth games medal winner who has a degree at least at Post Graduation level.

For Post at Sr. No:4

1. A Master’s degree in Psychology in Human Development from a recognised University/ Institution with 55% marks in aggregate. Desirable i) Specialised in Clinical/ Counselling Psychology. ii) Minimum experience of 1year as Counsellor.

 Mandatory requirement for all above posts: a)Minimum of 15 years of Residence in Goa.

        b) Knowledge of Konkani. Additionally, knowledge of Marathi shall be desirable.

Pay and allowances and terms and conditions of service are as laid down by Goa University/ Goa Government and other competent authority from time to time.

In case candidate possessing NET/SET/Ph.D qualifications are not available or not found suitable, candidates fulfilling other conditions of minimum qualifications would be considered for appointment on purely temporary basis till the end of academic year.

 The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the posts advertised and  right to accept  or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.
