Educational Qualifications and Eligibility

For Post at Sr. No. 1

1. Ph.D. degree
2. ii) Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/ experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
3. A minimum of 10 research publications in peer reviewed journal as approved by Goa University from time to time or UGC-listed journals out of which at least two should be in Scopus / Web of Science Journal.
4. A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Appendix II, Table 2 B. (Goa University Statutes SC-16)

 A College Principal shall be appointed for a period of five years, extendable for another term of five years on the basis of performance assessment by a Committee appointed by the University.  

For Post at Sr. No: 2

(1) Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution. 

(2) One year experience in administrative work.

(3) Minimum six months certificate course in computers.

(4) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (1) Knowledge of Marathi

For Post at Sr. No: 3

(1) Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution. 

2) Knowledge of Computer applications/operations with typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.

(3) Knowledge of Konkani

(4) Desirable:

Knowledge of Marathi. 

Mandatory requirement for all above posts:

a) Minimum of 15 years of Residence in Goa. 

            b) Knowledge of Konkani. Additionally, knowledge of Marathi shall be desirable.

c) Pay and allowances and terms and conditions of service are as laid down by Goa University/ Goa Government and other competent authority from time to time. 

d) T.A/D.A will not be paid to attend the interview.
