VACANCIES

Application along with full bio-data containing   recent photograph, telephone/ mobile no., email-ID, academic qualification,   teaching / research experience, etc. is invited by The Secretary, Swami Brahmanand Sanskrit Prabodhini for its Swami Brahmanand Mahavidyalaya (Grant-in Aid College)from qualified and eligible candidates (Indian citizens) for the following posts so as to reach the undersigned within 21days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Application must be accompanied by certified photocopies of statement of marks from S.S.C and onwards and other relevant certificates including Experience, Birth certificate, Change in name if any, Certificate of 15 years residence in Goa issued by a competent authority etc. addressed to The Secretary, Swami Brahmanand Sanskrit Prabodhini, Tapobhoomi, Kundaim, Ponda-Goa. 403115.   Applicants already employed must send their applications through proper channel.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Break in service/   academic career if any should be accounted for.

 For Post at Sr. No: 1

1. A Master‘s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point –scale, wherever the grading system is followed). ii) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library. iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SET (conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University) or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree as stated in Goa University statutes SC-16.4.7 (iv). Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.  

For Post at Sr. No: 2

 A- i) A Master‘s Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). 

ii) Record of having represented the university / college at the inter-university /inter-collegiate competitions or the State and/ or national championships. iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SET (conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University), or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Physical Education or Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science as stated in Goa University statues SC-16.4.8  (II). 

 iv) Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with Goa University Statutes SC-16.4.8 (iii)

OR

B- An Asian game or commonwealth games medal winner who has a degree at least at Post

Graduation level.

For Post at Sr. No: 3

(1) Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education. (2) Speed of 100 words per minute in Short Hand and 35 words per minute in typing. (3) Minimum three months certificate course in Computers. (4) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Mandatory requirement for all above posts:

a) Minimum of 15 years of Residence in Goa. 

b) Knowledge of Konkani. Additionally, knowledge of Marathi shall be desirable.

c) Pay and allowances and terms and conditions of service are as laid down by Goa University/ Goa Government and other competent authority from time to time. 

d) T.A/D.A will not be paid to attend the interview.
